Key Duties and Responsibilities:

l Understand business processes, applications and how data is gathered; and tie application

telemetry to transactional data model.

l Coordinate with the business and/or data related departments to identify potential requirements

and design solutions

l Build an adaptable data platform architecture allowing data team and data analyst to build and

iterate on new data marts quickly.

l Define standards for modeling, naming, governing and delivering data across business functions.

Meanwhile, from data governance perspective, develop and maintain the processes and standards

to enable data access, reporting, quality and master data management.

l Design, build and manage data warehouse and data marts to satisfy the growing data processing,

access and view needs.

l Launch and support new data models that provide intuitive analytics to internal users.

l Design and develop new framework and automation including tools and/or interfaces to enable

business teams to quickly understand and consume data.

l Collaborate with multiple functional teams in different business departments and drive the solution

end-to-end.

l Ensures that all documentation for data platform and/or solutions is of high quality and properly

curated

Key Skills and Competencies:

l 5+ years of experience with schema design and dimensional data modeling.

l 5+ years of SQL (Oracle, AWS Redshift, Hive, etc) experience is required and the working

knowledge on no-SQL (K-V database, document database, full-text search, column-based database)

is a plus.

l 3+ years of experience in custom or structured (ie. Informatica/Talend/SSIS) ETL design,

implementation and maintenance;

l Fundamental Knowledge on Business Intelligence: Data Warehouse, ETL, OLAP Cube, Reporting

and etc.

l Ability to analyze data to identify deliverables, gaps and inconsistencies.

l Ability in managing and communicating data warehouse project plans to internal clients.

l Experiences of designing, building and maintaining data processing systems

l Experiences of working with visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI

l Communication skills including the ability to identify and communicate data driven insights

l Bachelor degree or above in computer science;

Education & Experience Requirements:

l Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent plus minimum 3 years of relevant professional

working experiences in IT application system implementation.

l Ability to write simple code/script with mainstream programming language (.Net or Java or Python

etc.)

l Ability to write SQL statement including select/insert/update/delete to do data analysis.

l Web application development skill is preferred.

l Ability to work in a project team oriented environment in a complex and diverse business unit of a

multi-national company.

l Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment as part of a high performance team.

l Ability to work with minimal supervision to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and perform

job responsibilities accurately.
