Responsibilities

Data Management:

• Insures the integrity of research project data, possibly including data extraction, processing, storage, manipulation, validation and analysis.
• Responsible for database design, administration and maintenance.
• Accurately codes variables from original data and completes statistical analyses as needed.
• Shares knowledge of data coding and analysis techniques with other staff.

Research Design and Statistical Analyses:

• Participates in ongoing decisions regarding data analysis.
• Works with research and sales team to develop integrated analyses that address proposed research questions.
• Analyses data with basic statistical methods.

Specific Job Skills

• Demonstrated experience and expertise with SPSS required.
• Demonstrated experience using advanced Excel features and techniques required; The following Excel skills are required: Advanced filters, Pivot table, Lookup functions, Macros, Excel statistical package (E.g. Anova, t-Test, Correlation, Etc.).
• Demonstrated experience using PowerPoint.
• Comfortable working independently, with experience working in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks balanced with high attention to detail.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant field.
• Undergraduate or graduate coursework in statistics, data analysis, research methods.
• 3+ years experience in data analysis, decision support, including demonstrated proficiency with analytical software.
