Due to the rapid expansion of our company, we are looking for an Audio DSP Engineer to play a key role in designing DSP algorithms; designing DSP software in assembler and high level (C language); designing host control software (PC and embedded processors, in C/C++) to control signal processing functions and evaluating/testing signal processing

function and performance.

This Audio DSP Developer role is open to both strong graduates with a passion for audio processing or experienced DSP Engineers with proven commercial DSP experience.

To be considered for this DSP Engineer role, you will ideally be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in an Electronics / Software Engineering subject with DSP content or Audio Engineering with strong software and DSP content.

For experienced DSP Developers you will have commercial experience in audio DSP algorithm design and programming, or at a minimum, an in-depth experience of a complex audio DSP project (during degree or work experience).

This DSP Developer role will also require a good knowledge and understanding of most of the following:

? Strong understanding of digital audio signal processing theory and principles.

? Experience in developing systems in software

? Experience in writing assembler/ C language (Tensilica Hifi DSP ,Texas Instruments and Analog Devices SHARC a strong advantage)

? Experience of DSP design and simulation (Matlab)

? Knowledge of FPGA design (during study or experience)

? Interested in audio processing systems

? Passion for sound and music

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or related field
• 2+ years of firmware development experience on DSPs and/or MCUs

software version control.

? Strong understanding of digital audio signal processing theory and principles

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
• Experience in various audio signal processing technologies
• Real-time audio processing experience
• Independent, self-motivated worker requiring minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills

. Excellent demonstrable Embedded C programming skills.

? C++ (OOP) programming skills.

? Solid understanding of fundamental DSP theory.

? Strong understanding of software engineering principles.

? Understanding of/experience developing BSP plugins will added advantages.

. A musical background, guitar playing or otherwise, would be considered a strong advantage.
