SKILLS PROFILE

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelors Degree (Masters Degree preferred) in Technical Science, reinforced by 5-years of experience, including significant experience in mentoring and Project Management.

Professional abilities:

• Mentoring skills, leadership, active listening, communication skills, ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team, rigor, management skills; synthetic and analytical thinking ;

• Proficiency in Office tools (Portal, PDM, Word, Excel, PowerPoint…) ;

• Fluency in English is mandatory.

Technical knowledge:

• Deep knowledge of current working methods among leading automotive equipment suppliers ;

• High skill in Design (CAD, ISO dimensioning, functional analysis, Eco design, Design FMEA,….) ;

• Deep understanding of quality, costs and delivery aspects relevant to projects under development.

MAIN MISSIONS

The regional leader of product design, the Regional Development Center Manager ensures the product design and validation is in respect to the regional customer expectations and design standards defined by the Center of Excellence.

Product Design / Industrialization Process / Measurement Control Process

• Responsible for regional product design (EBOM, specifications, validation plans, prototyping…) using design standards from the Center of Excellence.

• Manages Design teams (Design Office, Design Engineers, CAD Designers..), FMEA Champion and (depending of the organization) Laboratory teams.
  

• Ensures “2S2F” project developments in compliance with Quality, Cost and Delivery targets.
  

• Organizes communication initiatives and information exchange in accordance with expressed needs.

• Ensures the follow-up on and compliance with the budget.

• Responsible for the confidentiality of customer information, as well as supplier and AKWEL’s Group data.

• Entrusted with creation of technical operating instructions to ensure the proper service operation.

Develops relationships with assigned customer Engineering teams and focuses on customer satisfaction.
