Job Description
Overview: Siemens Industry is looking for a positive and professional Customer Service Representative to join our team in Roebuck SC. – In this role you will be one of our points of contact for industrial electrical distribution products. You will be responsible for delivering a best-in-class customer support experience while leveraging data to create meaningful insights that are customer-focused. This is an on-site role, and the candidate will report to the Factory Customer Service Supervisor and will have no direct reports. Responsibilities: - Operates and optimizes pre-defined tools, applications, and data bases/data management systems. - Creates reports and communicates results to various internal and/or external stakeholders (example -. management, customers, and support teams). - Provide support to pre and post shipment inquires, warranty issues and other related support to customers. - Assist in resolving customer problems and applies problem-solving skills to deal with most situations. - Coordinate activities with other CSRs and other departments to find the appropriate solution. - Provide quick, detailed, and effective answers to customer inquiries. - Escalate queries and concerns, as necessary. - Provide Support on other projects as directed by the Customer Service Team lead, Supervisor or Manager. Abilities: - Professional communication with Customer Support and Project Management teams to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. - Must have the ability to adapt for each customer to maintain a good customer relationship. - Handle warranty and field issues in a timely manner with the lowest impact on the business and established financial targets. - Develop semi-technical understanding to deliver solutions to customers for Lighting Panels, Switchboards, and Busway. - Use best practices, lessons learned, and good judgment to identify potential issues with Customer incidents as they arise and report them back to the Quality and Product teams. - Must be able to navigate SAP affectively to extract required data. Knowledge, Skills, and Education: 1. Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. 2. Interpersonal and customer service skills. 3. Excellent oral and written communication skills. 4. Must be independent and capable of effective time management. 5. Ability to adapt for each customer. 6. Analytical and problem-solving skills. 7. Multitasking and organizational skills. 8. Ability to answer a high volume of calls and/or emails daily. 9. Attentiveness and patience. 10. Ability to find the positive in any situation. Not required but would be a plus: 1. Semi-Technical knowledge of Busway, Lighting Panel, and Switchboard products. 2.
