Responsible for a variety of duties involved in the design and layout of printed and graphic materials. Performs routine and complex duties in the preparation of printing specifications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare design layouts, specifications and mechanicals for booklets, brochures and other printed and graphic materials. Analyze and select or make recommendations about the proper paper, ink, type, illustrations and printing techniques to be used in production.
• Coordinate interrelated activities with others departments to promote efficient workflow for artwork asset management and production releases
• Meet with clients as needed to develop design concepts, gather information, discuss alternatives, gain approval and review artwork Must also keep abreast of recent developments and technologies in the graphic arts field. 10

Skills / Experience / Education Requirements:

Education: 4 year degree or equivalent work experience

Experience: 2+ years related experience with minimum of 1 year of training in commercial art

Requires working knowledge of graphic design software (Adobe Illustrator, PhotoShop, and InDesign)
