The University is seeking experienced individuals to assist with the development of multimedia materials for the project “e-learning portal for learning information technology in education and media and information literacy”. All materials will be presented in both Chinese and English.

The portal includes the following topics:

1. Computer hardware and Microsoft Windows Operation
2. Basic Microsoft Office skills for learning
3. Advanced Microsoft Office skills for teaching
4. Useful tools for online teaching
5. Basic Mobile Apps development
6. Developing effective information search and managing information, data and knowledge
7. Social Media and fake news identification

The appointees shall mainly be responsible for the following:

• developing a blueprint of e-learning portal;
• developing online materials including printed materials, video demonstrations and interactive activities (simulation tasks or interactive discussions); and
• developing assessment materials including practical exercises, quizzes and case studies.

Applicants are expected to possess the following:

• a higher degree in IT in Education, Computing, Media Studies or a related discipline;
• excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese);
• effective communication skills and the ability to work independently; and
• preference will be given to those who have teaching experience and/or material design experience at tertiary level.
