职位描述

BASIC FUNCTIONS

• The candidate will be accountable for providing legal advice and support on a proactive and day-to-day basis to HR, Facilities Management, GPSC and Aftersales of GM China.
• Advice to GM China or other stakeholders within GM (mainly in Detroit) on Chinese law.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze legal questions and work directly with client groups in China to identify, analyze and initiate appropriate action on legal issues.
• Research laws and regulations.
• Provide oral and written legal advice to clients.
• Counseling on personnel and employment, labor and related issues.
• Supervise litigation with outside counsel.
• Work with outside counsel and headquarter lawyers in team as needed.

任职条件

• Self starter and team player with the ability to operate in a matrix organization.
• Strong legal background in Chinese contracts and employment law.
• Pragmatic in the approach to law.
• Excellent Mandarin and English language, oral and written.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Bachelors Degree in Law (or higher qualification) from a leading law school in China.
• Legal Qualification in China.
• At least 3 years of experience in a corporate legal department or law firm in China.
