SUMMARY

The Factory Analyst will provide critical and timely information to Management in order to make strategic and tactical decisions for our Factory. The Factory Analyst will take a leadership role on all analysis with respect to the factory costing, performance tracking and various operational activities.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Regular reporting and analysis on all factory metrics and identify risks and opportunities
• Support new projects in the factory with high quality analysis and monitor performance against plan
• Ensure SAP costing model is accurate, perform quantitative analysis and identify cost/process improvement opportunities including risks.
• Review purchase price variances, identify and minimize all variances
• Analyze key expenses, costing categories and provide recommendations to Management
• Ad Hoc analysis and tasks as required

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENT

• 
  University degree with a major in Accounting
• At least 5 years of experience in factory costing and performance monitoring
• Good communication (written and oral/presentation) and analytical skills
• Advanced Excel skills and proficient in Office, experience with SAP will be an asset

DECISION MAKING

The candidate must be a team player, able to communicate and work with personnel in different departments. He/she must also be adaptable to the fast-paced nature of the organization – must be prepared to re-prioritize tasks as needed. As the factory expert, the candidate must be able to convey confidence in order to establish credibility.
