Major Responsibilities and Objectives:

• Assist in arranging funding for projects by raising funds from equity injection,and bank and entrusted loan financing;

• Assist in assessment of proposed new investments and review of the value of existing investments;

• Assist in execution of investment and divestment transactions;
• Assist in preparing annual budget, monthly and annual financial statements and other reports, and filing the reports for regulatory & tax purposes;
• Research the financial and company information of JV partners and peer group companies;
• Research the latest changes on government regulations, and analyze the impact on company’s operations;

• Carry-out ad-hoc projects of a general financial nature as and when required;

Major Tasks and Activities:

• Assist in liaising and negotiating with the banks the loan financing opportunities for the projects;
• Assist in reviewing the loan documentation, including the loan agreement, guarantee and board circulars required for approving a loan, and preparing the documents required under the Conditions Precedent for approving a loan;
• Assist in liaising with the government authorities and the banks regarding the procedures and documents required for an equity projection;

• Review and prepare the weekly cash positions of the PRC projects for
  funding purpose;

• Assist in reviewing the financial model for evaluation of investment & divestment opportunities, and analyse the impact of the changes;

• Assist in the set-up and disposal of companies, and ensure the set-up meets government approval and is in a tax-efficient matter;

• Co-ordinate the preparation of annual budget, annual and monthly financial reports and such financial projections and statistical information as may be required;

• File the related reports for regulatory & tax purposes to the government bodies;

• Maintain the databases on the information of JV partners and peer group companies;

• Keep up with latest state and local policies in tax, real estate, foreign exchange control and etc

• Tertiary educated in
  accounting, finance or economics;
• Qualified accountant or chartered financial analyst with 2-3 years’ post qualification experience in corporate finance;

• Proficiency in PC skills;
