Job Description

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for overseeing daily sales activities, to include account acquisition, retention and expansion in corporate markets. Supervising and motivating the corporate sales team, to ensure that the required service levels are maintained and exceeded, with both internal and external customers. This position requires business development to build attendance for the park, maximizing hotel occupancy and capturing BS&E Revenue to ensure that those targets are achieved or exceeded by corporate sales team within fiscal year and at the same time effectively manage program budget to reach year-end results. Support Manager, MICE & Catering Sales in implementing Sales / Marketing strategies for existing portfolio and establish new BS&E products, assist with revenue tracking and forecast, along with accurate room night and admissions production and compilation of key financial reports for business analysis. Additionally, this role is required to engage and attend local and overseas travel shows and trade missions to enhance market awareness.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and support all sales activities / lead generations, within corporate meetings, corporate catering events, incentive group and park events segments, to include site inspections, sales presentations, client entertainment and familiarization tours, both on and offsite. Key job function is to drive and attain favorable business results in exceeding sales targets for Revenue of Food & Beverage, Theme Park Admissions and Hotel Room Nights
  • Train and develop new staff, as well as continuous product knowledge refresh
  • Participate in local and overseas trade shows and corporate direct sales calls and/or cultivate new business development opportunities / relationships
  • Business development support and initiative for Corporate MICE markets
  • Support sales product development and channel distribution tactics
  • Sales activity to support to all corporate sales team members
  • Assist with revenue tracking and forecast, along with accurate room night and admissions production
  • Supervision of daily sales office operation and administration
  • Taking a lead role in managing team members’ performance plan ~ such as all aspects of the sales cycle, including prospecting and customer relationship management

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree holder
  • Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience in Corporate / Event Sales in a 5-Star Hotel / Resort with at least 4 years at managerial level
  • Aggressive, proactive sales initiatives, organized and possess keen business acumen
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, matrix organizational structure, and able to foster a positive and focused work environment
  • Excellent relationship building, exceptional persuasive and negotiation skills
  • Strong presentation and sales technique
  • Strong interaction and communication skills, with polished presentation style to interact with multiple internal and external parties
  • Able to work well independently on frequent projects and tasks, and work under pressure and close deadline
  • Strong sense of innovation and creativity
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English, Mandarin and Cantonese
