Job Description

Government Engagement & Partnership

  • Support the Senior Government Affairs Manager (SGAM) in delivering the set objectives under Government Affairs (GA) Strategy and Plan
  • Coordinate the implementation of GA’s community investment and sustainability programmes in partnership with Government and other relevant stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of health partnership through a strong management of external stakeholders, including mapping and engagement with government, embassies, trade associations, NGOs, and partners;
  • Develop contents and carry out daily interactions with stake holders with guidance and support from SGAM

Policy Shaping and Advocacy

  • Develop deep understanding of healthcare landscape in Vietnam to facilitate both internal and external stakeholder engagement & policy shaping
  • Closely monitor existing and future legislative activity impacting AstraZeneca’s operations
  • Provide data, analysis and insights that helps the business understand the evolving opportunities and challenges in the new emerging policy landscape
  • Prepare position papers, policy recommendations and supporting materials with support and guidance from SGAM
  • Participate in Advocacy teamwork

Corporate Affairs (CA) Administrative Support

  • Support SGAM to ensure the compliance to AZ’s Rules and Code of Ethics in all GA & CA work and processes
  • Keep records of GA Interactions and Community Investment in accordance with AZ’s Global standards
  • Arrange logistics for Corporate Affairs activities and support the conduct of activities
  • Support procurement processes for CA activities under the lead by activities owners
  • Make regular payment for CA’s expenses such as courier fee, association membership fee, document translation fee, digital library subscription,

Closely follow up with CP, SGAM and CAM on budget controlling
