Bicicletta Restaurant is located within iconic Peppers Gallery Hotel & New Acton Precinct, and is a favourite amongst Canberran’s for its authentic Italian Cuisine. Our recipe for success remains grounded in a commitment to seasonal produce, provincial dishes, family and community.

We are currently seeking an experienced Part Time Cook to join our busy and well established kitchen.

The Role

Working under the guidance and direction of our senior Chefs this role would suite an aspiring cook. Primary responsibilities will be as follows:

• Support all sections of the Kitchen
• Food preparation
• Pizza and dough making
• Cooking of menu items
• Mis en place, pack down and general Kitchen cleaning tasks.

About You

You are an aspiring cook who thrives in a fast paced environment. You will also:

• You will be experienced as a cook in a commercial kitchen or you are are a strong kitchen hand looking for your next challenge
• Strong time management, prioritisation and multitasking skills
• Passionate about cooking
• Demonstrated knowledge of food safety and safe work practices 
• Genuine commitment to continuous improvement
