Day to Day Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a preventive maintenance system for the production/service equipment (database and tracking system of all equipment which requires regular maintenance).

Develop weekly/monthly/yearly maintenance schedule to minimize equipment downtime.

Conduct equipment daily troubleshooting and problem solving to support the production in electrical/controls areas.

Emphasize safety in daily operation by strict adherence to applicable codes and standards. Comply with all government regulations with regards to facilities, utilities, etc.

Analyze the equipment performance routinely and make improvement recommendations.

Complete follow up actions required from production/safety/environment audits.

Provide job related training for electrical technician & electricians. Take responsibility for building and improving the technical strength of the maintenance team in electrical/control areas.

Coordinate with other maintenance engineers on people resource, collect necessary equipment information prior to developing preventive maintenance plan.

Assist maintenance manager on contractor management and cost control.

Attend training related to the assigned area. Become thoroughly knowledgeable in the production and process equipment for whole plant.

Responsible for spare parts management system and localization initiative.

Improve CMMS (Computer Management Maintenance System) as needed.

Project management, documentation and training.

Requirements: Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation or equivalent.

6+ years’ experience on the position of equipment engineering in manufacturing environment, plus 3+ years in multi-national company.

Strong record of results for a multi-national company.

Experiences in working with and/or supervising project teams.
