Summary
As a key member in the Oracle NetSuite Global Business Unit (GBU) Enablement organization, this position is primarily responsible for our enablement program in the Oracle NetSuite Latin America Region (LAD). In this role, you will oversee the design, development, and execution of an enablement curriculum and various training projects that are provided to the consulting practice and NetSuite Partners; ensuring consistent delivery and experiences across locations and in collaboration with the larger Global Enablement Organization.
The Enablement Lead is a member of a strategic enablement program team and is central to acclimating new hires and Partners to the NetSuite environment and product, supporting the continuing enablement of experienced employees on the NetSuite application, teaching our customer engagement methodology, and business processes. Example activities include conducting workshops, coordinating instructor-led training, and guiding employees through structured learning activities defined within the program. You will train employees across numerous locations in person and virtually.
You will be in a unique position to contribute to the design, development, and growth of a global enablement curriculum and the various training projects that are provided. You will also be responsible for assisting in the ongoing development of enablement training and associated materials; including working with other departments to augment existing materials provided by them. Such activities include administering feedback sessions, revising or developing content based on participant feedback and new program initiatives, partnering with team members to ensure a consistent experience across all offices, and providing support as requested for overall Enablement operations.
Responsibilities\:
- Define the learning plan for the region programs; lead team and partners to build curriculum and execute projects
- Develop online, live and interactive on demand training programs to help build critical skill levels that will allow consultants to implement NetSuite and improve customer satisfaction
- Develop highly effective training content that will drive a successful learning transfer spanning product, skills, tools and processes
- Reduce ramp time to productivity through the execution of consulting enablement programs
- Design, create and deliver impactful and scalable training and communications in a clear, consumable & consistent way
- Serve as an advocate for the LATAM Consulting Organization, making sure the team has what they need, when they need it and in a format that works for them
- Work effectively and cross-functionally across the organization; earning trust and building relationships throughout
- Make process recommendations to achieve operational excellence
- Drive the use of metrics to assess the effectiveness of the enablement programs
- Stay on top of trends and share industry best practices on enablement tools and processes
- Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of the capabilities of NetSuite
Ideal Candidate\:
- Prior experience in a functional training role with emphasis on technology and business process training development, design, and delivery; instructional design experience a plus
- Strong presentation, training and group facilitation skills; familiar and competent with audience-engagement methods and techniques appropriate for all types of audiences
- Must have a fundamental understanding and working knowledge of consulting processes and execution
- Excellent understanding of common industry standards as related to ERP with an understanding of standard business practices as related to Accounting (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Invoicing), Inventory Management (Purchasing and Fulfillment) as well as support (Cases Management and Territory Management)
- Experience building effective on-boarding and training programs
- Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas
- Ability to influence others without formal authority and lead cross-functional teams
- A talent for bringing out the best in others, and helping them learn, grow, and succeed
- Experience with eLearning development tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, etc.) is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work comfortably and effectively with multiple levels of management
- Flexibility to work with colleagues across NetSuite's international office in North America, Asia, Japan and Europe
- Strong team player with the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage internal and external responsibilities simultaneously in a global environment
- Fluent in Spanish and English required
- Able to speak Portuguese a plus
- Prior experience with the following applications is helpful\: QuickBooks, Great Plains, MAS 90, Oracle Financials, SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Sage
Provide engagement delivery services both as an individual and as a team member. Services include identifying needs, developing, influencing and implementing proposals. Able to lead, support and participate on project teams.
Job duties are varied and complex that need independent judgment. May have project lead role. A BS or BA in related fields. 7-9 years overall experience in functional or technical role. Two years experience in multi-dimensional issue resolution. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Willing to travel regionally with some national travel.
