What You'll Do
- Lead the project delivery with full end-to-end accountability
- Lead the customer management as well as internal stakeholders to set the right expectations and secure the change management process
- Deliver the project on time and budget
- Bring up margin improvement ideas and lead their implementation
- Follow Oracle projects governance and delivery processes
- Ensure proper resources planning in place
- Ensure accurate financial forecast in place for cost/margin and revenue recognition
- Support the sales team in the bid phase and ensure the sold consulting services can be delivered as quoted on time and budget
What You'll Bring
- +15 years of experience relevant to this position including 4 years of consulting experience
- Virtual teams leadership capabilities
- Good background of the BSS/OSS projects delivery
- Strong knowledge of the Project Management processes and knowledge areas
- Strong communication/presentation skills up to customers CX level
- Gulf experience is mandatory especially in Saudi Arabia
- Excellent project financials management knowledge
- Large projects leadership experience

Effectively applies Oracle’s methodologies and policies while adhering to contractual obligations, minimizing Oracle’s risk and exposure. As a position of professional influence, this individual frequently operates at the leading edge of technology. This role may manage multiple projects, tracks, or phases within the program often with international deployment activity. Recommends and justifies enhancements to Oracle products to meet highly complex customer needs. Exercises creativity and independent judgment in identifying and resolving significant and unique issues and risks impacting project success. Leads high performing consulting teams on very challenging projects. As a thought leader and trusted advisor, effectively influences the most difficult customer decisions and business transformation. Ensures deliverables are acceptable, and works closely with the customer to understand and manage program expectations. This position works closely with all Oracle lines of business, partners and third-party vendors to ensure program delivery success. Enables business development efforts by providing domain expertise. Manages the scope of large-scale programs and accounts with high levels of complexity.
10+ years of experience relevant to this position including 5+ years of project management experience. Second-level management experience preferred; proficient at managing managers and large team. Demonstrated ability to successfully manage projects of increasing complexity with commensurate professional sophistication. Comfortable working in matrix management environment. Strong influencing and negotiation skills to deal with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the portfolio focus. Proficient in using selling and negotiation techniques and tools. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. PMI certification preferred. Ability to travel as needed.
