Summary:

  

Reporting to the Sales Director for UK & Nth, the NetSuite UK Sales Manager will be responsible for the day to day management of the UK Solution Principle team. 
The chosen candidate will be required to lead their team and work closely across their peer group within NetSuite, enabling the organisation to sell more cloud, increase the numbers of customers going live and adopting NetSuite successfully.

  This involves working closely and developing relationships with the Sales team, understanding the NetSuite delivery process, the importance of Customer Satisfaction, and engaging directly with prospects.

 

Responsibilities include:

  •  Attain and exceed sales booking objectives for their team and region.
    •    Hire, train, lead and manage a team of both new and experienced Solution Principles, ensuring key business objectives are met.
    •    Ensure the team maintains a strong breadth of knowledge of NetSuite’s products and services. 
    •    Handle all day-to-day HR tasks relating to their team.
    •    Contribute to business planning and forecasting for their region.
    •    Build the team’s expertise and confidence through coaching and mentoring.
    •    Help manage the engagement process and deal governance for sales opportunities within their team.
    •    Support the execution of licence sales activities in attainment of booking targets.
    •    Promote, position and sell NetSuite services both internally and externally.
    •    Contribute to company’s focus on growth by participating in appropriate cross-departmental and business initiatives.
    •    Act as a point of escalation and where necessary, become a management sponsor for selected customer relationships.
    •    Ensure that the team operates in accordance with Oracle and NetSuite’s business processes and procedures. 

  Accountable for operational/financial metrics and overall business results of practice. Responsible for maintaining practice direction, ensuring quality of pre-sales consulting, and maintaining customer referenceability. Ensures that operational policies are followed and that business objectives are achieved by focusing on best practices and process improvements. Develops plans to successfully implement operational policies and achieves business plan. Is accountable for managing and growing a revenue stream and customer base. Typically manages individual contributors. May serve as advisor for moderately complex engagements.

 

Preferred Qualifications/Skills include:

   Experienced in managing and leading teams (directly or indirectly). 
•    Strong coaching skills and ability to motivate others. 
•    Proven consultative selling and sales leadership within a Cloud environment.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
•    Strong motivator & evangelist who is able to present at all levels, internally and externally.
•    Has a good commercial understanding of contracting principles for successful, profitable consulting delivery.
•    Strong customer management skills and comfortable operating at the C-Suite level.
•    Solid understanding of the cloud services lifecycle.
•    Change Agent and willing to take responsibilities.
•    Self-starting, entrepreneurial, highly motivated and results oriented.

         Strong application solution experience – ideally with ERP, CRM or similar scale solution.  NetSuite and/or Oracle solution experience is a plus, however other reasonably competitive platforms will be considered.

         Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

         Bachelor and/or Masters degree in a business or technical discipline.

 

This manager-level position is responsible for a segment within a given practice focused on a specific industry, service line, technology center, specialty area or region. Responsible for managing the three main pillars of a practice: people management, portfolio/delivery management and sales enablement. Has profit and loss responsibility or financial/expense management of practice.

8+ years of experience relevant to this position including 4 years of consulting experience and 2 years of project management leadership experience. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Can lead, engage, mobilize and motivate multiple teams to accomplish goals. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the practice focus. Ability to travel as needed.
