Siemens Mobility Division provides efficient and integrated transportation of people and goods by rail and road – including rolling stock, rail automation, rail electrification, intelligent traffic systems, and service. We design and manufacture across the entire spectrum of rolling stock, including commuter and regional passenger trains, light rail and streetcars, metros, locomotives, passenger coaches, and high-speed trainsets. Cities and Railroads also rely on us to provide traction-power substations and electricity transmission, as well as signaling and control technology for freight and passenger rail and transit systems.
We are seeking a Consulting Financial Analyst to join the Mobility Finance and Performance Management group. Key responsibilities are Headquarter controlling, reporting, analysis, and general financial and commercial support. You will provide executive management financial and operational analysis to support strategic plans and operating budgets. The research will include various operational levels of factory, project, and cost accounting. This position will require a high level of independent and critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and/or cross-functional problems.
Additional responsibilities will include:
-Guiding the various levels and groups within our matrix structure to design and optimize financial processes and systems for higher accuracy and completeness of the information.
-Determining and discussing financial analysis at very complex levels (project and factory level), including the rate of return, depreciation, working capital, investments, budgeting, and economic and expense performance comparisons.
-Guiding conformance to IFRS / FRG requirements - may also guide commercial activities (pricing, margin calculations, etc.)
-Developing financial reports for the executive management team and optimizing the reporting and closing processes for higher efficiency.
-Procurement Financial Support, such as Procurement group controlling/reporting, SCM essential metric check
Required Knowledge/Skills/Education:
-BS/BA in Finance or related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas.
-8-10 years of successful experience in a related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above
-Working knowledge of Spiridon and Hyperion a strong plus
