Computer Technician II

The appointee will be assigned to the Education Technology Services Team of the Academic Support Services, and will be responsible for (a) providing server support to the Education Technology Team; (b) providing end-user support for services offered by the Education Technology Team; and (c) performing other IT support tasks as assigned by the Centre.

Applicants should have (i) a Certificate or Diploma in an Information Technology-related discipline from a recognised university or technical institute; (ii) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); and (iii) an outgoing and self-motivated work attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in server support is preferred.

Appointment will initially be made on a 1- or 2-year contract (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract), renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
