Responsibilities would be, but not be limited to, the following:

·         Assist in maintaining and updating sanction and PEP lists as per Bank’s procedures

·         Support to monitor regulatory regulations and developments in general and inform the Chief Compliance Officer timely

·         Assist in communicating with BOC Head Office including implementing the compliance requirements from Head office, preparing reports in Chinese as necessary and translate documents involving Chinese and English.

·         Assist in coordinating with and managing cross-border branches regarding various compliance topics, and collect and consolidate report and compliance information from branches.

·         Assist in analyzing transaction screening alerts.

·         Perform any other tasks as directed by Compliance team

Profile (Technical Skills):

Desired Profile:

·         Bachelor degree in Law, Auditing, Finance,  Banking or Business Related Studies.

·         Professional experience in banking sector is a plus.

·         Fluency in English and Chinese is mandatory, French will be considered as an asset.

·         SQL will be considered as an asset
