Compliance Administrator

 

Due to organisational growth, we are seeking a Compliance and HR Administrator to drive the development and implementation of best practice standards. The is a multi-faceted role comprised of approx 3 days per week working on Health and Safety compliance and reporting, whilst the remaining 2 days will be spent providing administrative support to the Hotel’s Talent & Culture Manager assisting in maintaining employee records and associated reporting functions.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead the way with compliance training requirements such as WHS inductions, fire safety, evacuation, first aid, to name a few.
  • Facilitate our risk and injury management processes.
  • Conduct safety meetings, audits, inspections, to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, and identify corrective actions.
  • Drive our WHS committee, engagement and application.

Provide support to the T&C Manager in areas such as T&C reporting, onboarding, learning & development and T&C communications, to name a few.

Your experience and skills include:

  • You will be processes driven and thorough in your approach with the ability to make WHS FUN!
  • You will demonstrate genuine passion for maintaining a safe environment and developing employee wellbeing.
  • Experience in workers compensation, risk management and the investigation of incidents and hazards is preferred.
  • Sound knowledge and practical application of WHS Act, Codes of Practice and Australian Standards.
  • Excellent administrative, organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • Confident and articulate communication skills and ability to build rapport with all stakeholders.
  • Well-developed technological literacy.


Your team and working environment:

  • You'll be working closely with the T&C Manager (sharing an office) and the Director of Asset Management. The back of house support team is growing rapidly following a strong recovery post COVID.
