We are seeking a Community Builder to help establish and manage relationships with our customers and neighboring community members. This person will work directly with the CRM/Community Manager to curate a culture and maintain a strong network of loyal consumers both in person as well as extended into social media / digital platforms.
As an ambassador for Kerry Center, the Community Builder will take an active role in helping with Living Room activations and events, providing the best possible experience for our customers while being able to learn and document their wants and needs. The data and feedback collected will be used by the team to provide an even better experience for its customers and create new categories of growth.
Possible Responsibilities:
- Greet, engage, and build relationships one at a time with consumers
- Facilitate the development and implementation of plans to grow the Kerry Parkside community
- Generate ideas for activations and the building of new communities; obtain and record feedback / learnings from these activations
- Manage personal relationships via regular contact in person as well as through digital and social media platforms
- Bring people and communities together; identify and help bridge new relationships to people, brands, and interest groups
- Develop relationships with a goal to cultivate loyalty among the consumers and people in the community
- Assist with the building and maintenance of a member database
- Assist with the organization and coordination of activation and events including planning, promotion, and interfacing with KOLs and brands/tenants to bring activations to life
- Support in marketing communications, customer service and events as needed
Qualifications:
- Outgoing, energetic, and passionate
- Great communicator – a wonderful people person, in-person and online
- Not afraid to proactively approach people to strike up conversation in a friendly, warm, and authentic manner
- 2-5 years experience in communications, customer service, marketing, events,
- public relations, or related fields.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both Chinese and English desirable
- Self-motivated and a fast learner; ability to think and respond on the spot
- Strong organizational skills and discipline to document learnings from activations and relationships
- Ideally has experience in community building efforts either using social media or other platforms or in research and profiling
