General Objective
Responsible for color approvals for all departments. Implement color process according to the GTM calendar. Ensure fabric mills and vendors understand and execute KIABI’s color requirement for development (lab dip) and production (shade band). Coordinate lab dip approvals and ensure its homogeneity on common colors across source base. Maintain accuracy of spectrophotometer operation.Main tasks
§ Work with KIABI color team to implement color project and communicate approval.
§ Responsible for approving seasonal lab dips including common and specific colors for all departments (Men’s, Ladies, Kids and Babies).
§ Provide color comment and direction to vendors/mills for resubmission.
§ File approval and dispatch approved lab dip to relevant vendor when needed.
§ Operate spectrophotometer for color reading & execute visual judgement to color where needed.
§ Calibrate spectrophotometer on routine basis and work with color agent for yearly calibration.
§ Responsible for approving production fabric shade band from nominated mills
§ Provide support for color consultancy.
§ Set color training program & train mill for KIABI color requirement.
§ Execute color approval process according to the Go-To-Market (GTM) calendar.
§ Ensure homogeneity of common color across source base.
§ Maintain color standard integrity.
