Cloud Solution Engineer - PAYG, Oracle Digital Prime

The goal of this team is to drive successful Cloud adoption by our customers. In this innovative role you will provide support to the customers who are starting Oracle Cloud journey with Trial services to help them to understand how Oracle IaaS and PaaS Cloud Solutions can address their IT requirements. And as these customers move on to PAYG subscription model, you will be responsible for post sales relationship, partnership. This is high profile team that presents an exciting opportunity to be part of a group that will be central to Oracle’s future and growing success.

In your role you need to establish yourself as trusted advisor by sharing best practices and Oracle Cloud solution expertise, providing inspirational customer experience and helping customer in APAC remotely/online to take them through their Cloud adoption journey. Responsibilities:

• Consistently deliver an excellent user experience to drive Oracle Cloud adoption.
• Manage the customer lifecycle to grow consumption
• Guide customers on best practices and use cases to accelerate Cloud adoption.
• Position and demonstrate Oracle Cloud to audiences ranging from Senior Executives to technical stakeholders.
• Serve as customer’s advocate inside Oracle to ensure comprehensive support for customers throughout their early cloud adoption.

• Be the first point of contact for Oracle IaaS and PaaS Trial users.
• Proactively engage with and support PAYG/Trial users using latest technologies.
• Understand trial user evaluation criteria, their current environment and provide a comprehensive comparison of Oracle IaaS and PaaS offerings.
• Run walkthroughs of Oracle Cloud.
• Work closely with the wider Oracle team to engage the right resources at the right time. 
• Understand and position the advantages of Oracle Cloud offering.
• Proactively drive Oracle Cloud Trial Users to commercial subscription to address their business needs.

 

Profile:

 

• 3+ years of experience in Technical Sales role.
• 5+ years of experience in technical role (solution consultant, engineer, presales, IT specialist) with public cloud technology as it is adopted by IT departments, lines of business and developers.
• Proven ability to engage with senior business executives and IT personas; strong communications skills to develop and cultivate lasting customer relationships. 
• Excellent customer engagement skills: listening, understanding, demonstrating, presenting, and verbal and written communication.
• Strong understanding of public cloud technology as it is adopted by IT departments, lines of business and developers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong prioritization skills for volume business.
• Team player who will work within the company to continue improving the way Oracle serves its clients.
• Domain Knowledge in Oracle Cloud Platform (IaaS & PaaS) is preferred.
• IT BS degree or equivalent
