Purpose

 

Working as an integral part of a pre-sales or project team, the Oracle ERP Architect will provide solid functional and business skills in designing and implementing Oracle ERP Cloud, backed up by proven hands-on experience, ideally across different industries and clients in the ERP and Financials area. The person we are looking for is a self-starter, capable of managing individual work packages from initial engage phase through focus, refine, enable and live-operate phases as well as co-ordinating local and offshore delivery as a single point of contact from the solution perspective.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to Oracle clients to develop compelling, profitable, and deliverable customer solutions
  • Act as an ambassador for Oracle Cloud application solutions throughout a customer engagement
  • Work closely with client, sales, pre-sales and delivery staff to develop a robust architecture
  • Take full ownership of “modern best practice” of their competency area, covering the whole strategic footprint
  • Form and maintain strong relationships with colleagues in Oracle Product Development
  • Establish strong relationships with counterparts in Oracle partners
  • Manage the re-use and knowledge management of their competency area
  • Act as team lead providing coaching, guidance, and feedback to maximize the capabilities of team members
  • Apply Oracle methodology and company procedures

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Education level/qualifications: university degree in relevant field
  • Proficiency in English and Danish
  • At least 8 years of experience relevant to this position
  • Excellent knowledge of ERP area
  • Awareness of Cloud architectures and implementation design aspects
  • Recent project life-cycle experience
  • Demonstrated ability to develop successful architectures on projects with complex business requirements
  • Ability to drive and focus on business outcomes rather than business requirements to maximize value creation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and as a member of a team
  • High level of customer focus
  • High sense of responsibility

Desired Skills

  • Multi-national implementation experience
  • Certifications in the solution architecture (e.g. TOGAF)
  • Oracle ERP Cloud experience
  • Technical skills
  • Two years of consulting experience (preferred)
  • Experience in estimation and planning

 

As a recognized authority and leading contributor within their practice, this senior-level consulting position provides consistent high quality and innovative solution leadership to a project team. Leads the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget.

Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very complex aspects of applications and technology installations. Provides direction and mentoring to project teams, and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions. Supports the business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain expertise. Resolves complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products and make decisions based on impact across the stack.

8-10 years of experience relevant to this position including 4 years of consulting experience. Prior team leadership or management experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Strong influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to travel as needed.
