Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute a coordinated national public sector strategy that unifies our approach to the market, and is underpinned by cross lob public sector tailored solutions, collateral and marketing.
· Responsible for the identification of Consulting Services new business opportunities by leveraging existing relationships in the public sector, designing and owning the "go-to-market" plan, and co-ordinating the Consulting team to ensure Oracle’s continued success in the public sector.
· Acts as key liaison between Applications, Technology and Oracle Development and orchestrates and owns key business development activities.
· Generates revenue through prospecting, mass market programs and leveraging existing public sector relationships.
· Develops and coordinates nationwide relationships with customers that establishes Oracle Consulting as a preferred SI.
· Plans, implements and executes strategies and plans to successfully grow the business.
· Provides sales team with information and collateral on how the services address specific needs, and assists sales team in using Oracle's Services to leverage large revenue opportunities.
· Assists in articulating services messaging, coordinates technical resources and hands off deals to a successful close.
· Lead large deal/ tender strategy to ensure high quality responses are submitted.
The ideal profile will have the following skills:
· Essential, strong relationships with public sector across Australia at the Director of Corporate Services level or equivalent
· History of selling to the public sector or former senior public sector executive
· Understand the public sector ecosystem, drivers, procurement processes and challenges
· Experience in developing and executing go to market strategies
· Ability to manage virtual teams
