The CPTM contributes to the China program and Franchise strategy. The CPTM manages the cross functional operational delivery within China by the CPTs (in alignment with the Global Program Team) from DDP to product approval. The CPTM manages the creation and execution of integrated project plans under the leadership of the Clinical Franchise Head. Is focused on cross functional team work, communicates status, deviations and risks to management.
Your responsibilities:
1. A Project Manager who supports the Clinical Franchise Head to establish the pro-gram development strategy
2. Is responsible for managing the China Program Team’s operational delivery (in aligment with the GPTs and under the governance of the China Development Board)
3. Supports team preparation for strategic reviews and decision making at CDB
4. Manages the China Program Team performance to deliver the team objectives, determine program assessment's at Decision Points and to deliver high quality NDAs to agreed timelines with optimal Probability of success for competitive labeling.
5. Sets clear and transparent team objectives and priorities with the CFH
6. Predicts and Identifies critical issues and risks in the plan and works with stakeholders on solutions that maximize value and mitigate risks
7. Ensures that all key development decisions involve key stakeholder, options are fully evaluated and documented.
8. Captures and makes available in systematic fashion to China GCR management (and CDB) all key relevant program progress, decisions and milestones from internal and external stakeholders on assigned programs.
9. Ensures input of all relevant line functions including GPT members into the China Product Development plans.
10. In conjunction with local leaders, provides guidance and to team members to assist optimization and prioritization of projects.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Life sciences, medical or business degree
- High command of English language essential.
- 1. 5+ years’ experience in development and commercialization of pharmaceutical products across therapy areas
Desirable Requirements:
- Good knowledge of drug development and project management
- Successful track record of project management and building and motivating teams
- Good understanding of international drug development
- Leadership and strategic thinking potential, i.e., able to understand how external influence affects strategy and how change of strategy affects tactics
- Strong background and understanding of operations and implementation
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationship
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong track record of meeting personal or team’s goal
