Company Overview:

This role is critical to our operations, focusing on supporting new product development, vetting potential suppliers, conducting strategic sourcing activities, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support New Product Development Process:
• Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to facilitate the development of new products.
• Oversee the transition from prototype to mass production, ensuring that all products meet our quality and performance standards.
2. Vet Potential Suppliers:
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure they meet our standards for quality, cost, and reliability.
• Conduct thorough assessments and audits of supplier facilities and capabilities.
3. Conduct Strategic Sourcing Activities:
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to secure the best materials and services at competitive prices.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve favorable terms and conditions.
4. Inspect Production and QC Process of Partner Manufacturers:
• Monitor and inspect the production processes of partner manufacturers to ensure compliance with our quality standards.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure product consistency and reliability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in production management, preferably in China.
• Strong understanding of the manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
• Proven track record of successfully managing new product development and supplier vetting.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel frequently to various locations within China.
