This packaging sourcing manager role is responsible for sourcing all packaging materials in General Mills China. The main business involved is Wanchai Ferry Brand. This sourcing role:

• Lead the sourcing strategy for China packaging materials
• Running bidding and negotiation
• Sign contract with suppliers
• Manage supplier performance
• Deliver savings target set by the global function and the local business team
• Build solid supply base to ensure long term success
• Support innovation and new product launch as related to packaging sourcing by partnering with R&D
• Collaborate with global sourcing category managers to leverage global scale
• Team work with other regions to learn and reapply the best practice
• Drive synergy across brands for packaging sourcing

Desired Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated ability to create and lead the implementation of sourcing strategies.
• Knowledge and skills of direct material sourcing, e.g. raw material or packaging material sourcing.
• Significant experience in supplier relationship management.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate across various functions both internally and externally.
• Strong project management expertise
• Bachelor's Degree
• Fluent mandarin and English communication in verbal and written
• 6-10 years of sourcing experiences
• Food industry experiences preferred
• FMCG industry experiences preferred
