Company and Role Overview:
Established in 1949, BCA Research, is the leading independent macro-strategy research firm globally, with sixteen investment strategies covering global geographies and asset classes. Our business is primarily subscription based. Our clients include major institutional investors, investment banks and to a lesser extent high-net-worth individuals. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the growth of BCA Research’s client base in Mainland China. This role will primarily focus on new business development.
岗位职责:
- 拓展BCA Research在中国的业务规模与客户关系;
- 协助大中华区销售总监完成新业务开展流程, 具体包括业务机会的获取与执行(客户关系经营/陌生电话拜访/组织营销活动);
- 协助BCA中国既有客户关系的管理 (主要岗位职责还是在新业务开展)。
Role Accountabilities:
- Grow BCA Research’s client relationships in Mainland China through the implementation of business development plans.
- Support the Head of Greater China Sales in the new business sales cycle from origination to execution, including networking, cold-calling and organizing group events etc…
- Assist the Head of Greater China sales with account management of existing client as and when necessary, while the primary focus still on new business development.
任职要求:
- 具有使用营销咨询技巧, 以开展/影响/获取中国专业投资领域客户关系的良好工作业绩;
- 对全球宏观经济/策略/投资, 与不同类型机构投资者/研究需求有充分理解;
- 既有的中国专业投资客户关系, 包括投资银行/保险/资产管理/公私募基金等;
- 对投资研究报告销售一职具有热情, 具有为BCA带来新业务的特质;
- 团队合作者: 能依据需求协助团队完成交办工作;
- 能出差至北京/上海/深圳与中国其他主要城市;
- 中文母语/英文流利。
Role Requirements:
- A proven track record of using consultative sales techniques to influence, negotiate, gain commitment, and develop relationships with senior investment professionals in Mainland China.
- A good understanding in global macro-economics, strategy/investment, and the different types of institutional investors/their respective research needs.
- Existing relationships with senior investment professionals in investment banks, institutional money managers, hedge funds, private banks in Mainland China.
- A commitment to a career in institutional investment research sales and driven personality to grow BCA’s new business in Mainland China.
- Team Player: willing to support colleagues on tasks not directly related to coverage where necessary.
- Willingness and ability to travel between Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and other Chinese cities where necessary.
- Native Mandarin Chinese fluency/Business level English fluency.
The successful candidate will be based in either Beijing or Shanghai.
