Chief Financial Officer + Company Secretary

As one of the leading prestigious HK Listed Companies in Hong Kong, we are now actively seeking a Chief Financial Officer + Company Secretary to play a major role in the company's continuous growth and development phase. As a market leader who represent highly respected and recognised brands, they have achieved year on year growth within the business and are now well equipped with further expansion plans to enhance the branding of the company. This position is strategically planned to take over a long serving veteran within the industry who will make way into retirement, which therefore means there will be adequate time for a structure handover.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the CEO, you will play as key business partnering role in developing long term strategies for the group
• Lead all finance activities for the group, including: assessing investment opportunities, merger and acquisitions, preparing financial models and project feasibility studies, executing corporate finance transactions, and conducting due diligence at all levels
• Promote excellent corporate governance to optimize business and financial processes
• Maintain effective internal communication and external interfaces with auditors, stakeholders, and bankers
• Support the management on finance related activities for new business development planning
• Drive financial documentation and annual report planning for board, committee and shareholder meetings
• Hands-on experience with company secretarial matters

Requirement

• Degree educated, ideally with an MBA, CFA or CPA qualification
• Qualified Company Secretary would be highly advantageous
• Big 4 Background is preferable
• A minimum of 22+ years of commercial experience within a fast-paced environment, able to bring on and implement best practices for the business.
• Familiar with Hong Kong Stock Exchange Listing Rules
• You will have solid M&A experience preferably from within the APAC region
• Possess superb analytical skills and abilities coupled with excellent interpersonal skills
• Have a strong sense of business ownership
• Excellent communication skills with strong language ability in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Travelling from time to time maybe expected
