• Conduct laboratory testing including sample preparation and instrumental analysis according to standard operating procedures. 
• Analyses various kinds of samples including water, waste effluent and plastic and textile samples for inorganic restricted substances.
• Conduct biodegradability testing for polymer or other packaging materials samples.
• Prepare samples ready and fit for the testing, including but not limited to performing sample extraction, sample digestion procedures and sample separation by applying suitable techniques.
• Responsible for the operation of inorganic analytical instruments.
• Record, maintain and store the test data in the required format fulfilling laboratory quality system ISO 17025.
• Interpret test results and observations independently. Calculate scientific quantities; identify and report the abnormal patterns timely.
• Perform maintenance and calibration of Laboratory equipment.

Requirements:

• Fresh graduate, degree or above in Environmental Science related disciplines
• Initiative, organized and able to work independently
• Good command of English and Chinese including Mandarin
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Assistant Chemist
