• Conduction of R&D projects for the development of pretreatment products for the automotive components and automotive OEM industry.
• Documentation and evaluation of results and data of experimental series for the improvemement for conversion coating technologies.
• Writing of comprehensive reports and summaries of experimental series.
• Good communication within project teams and cooperation with interal scientific network.
• Lab-related customization and customer support.
• Implementation and compliance with BASF/Chemetall Environmental, Health and Safety policies.

• Master degree or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Polymer Engineering.
• Preferably knowledge in the theory and practice of surface technologies.
• Preferably knowledge in conversion chemistry or coatings.
• Very good skills in structured lab working, documentation and reporting.
• Very good communication skills.
• At least 3 years of working experience in R&D .
• Preferably experience in global companies.
• Fluent English (reading and writing).
