Job Description
Changsha International School Hiring Primary to Secondary English and Homeroom Teacher
Candidates should have
English native speaker
have a bachelor degree or above (Major in English or linguistics or science preferred)
TEFL/TESOL certification minimum (CELTA/DELTA/PGCE/QTS preferred)
have more than 2 years of relevant teaching experience
proficient in using multimedia tools for teaching
have ability to conduct the interdisciplinary and cross-project teaching
have good communication skills with students, parents and colleagues
work co-operatively and supportively with all members of staff
Job Description
Carry out all the teaching preparation and duties Correct students' homework be strict with yourself and be able to set the right example for students teach students in a way that enables them to achieve high standards of learning
contribute towards the provision of a dynamic, creative international learning
environment actively participate in the development of the school undertake long, medium and short term planning to ensure appropriate curriculum
coverage according to the requirements of the Lower Secondary and Primary
curriculum
take responsibility for preparing students for the Cambridge Checkpoint for English
provide competition training for students, help them achieve excellent results assign students appropriate learning tasks, timely review and provide feedback
ensure that student learning in classes is monitored, appropriately assessed and that
the results of such assessment are used to enhance learning
regularly report progress of students to parents actively participate in the range of extra-curricular activities and programmes that take
place outside the regular school day take part in designated school events, as defined by the school calendar undertake any other reasonable task that school leadership deems to be appropriate
