As a Category Sourcing Engineer, you will be responsible for negotiating the contract terms with global vendors, sourcing project management background and good control on the timeline of project, in Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area in Shanghai, China.

Reporting to the Service Team Leader, you will establish partnership with key suppliers, securing the long-term supply agreement for key commodities with key suppliers.

Your responsibilities

• Having good Knowledge of quality process to fulfill the requirement of supplier/material qualification
• Collaborating with our technicians and global R &D groups when it comes to new materials, revision handling, last time buy and product information in general
• Negotiating the contract terms with global vendors, sourcing project management background and good control on the timeline of project
• Looking forward for global material category strategy
• Collaborating with global SCM team in After Sales, Sweden
• Collaborating with local SCM team in CNAUS SU/BIW of Robotics
• Establishing partnership with key suppliers, securing the long-term supply agreement for key commodities with key suppliers
• Supporting to obtain quotations and making quotation analysis, negotiating best terms and conditions for the commodities in charge

Your background

• 4+ years of related job experience with demonstrated Negotiating and Contracting Skills, knowledge of Global Sourcing Systems will be plus
• Good Computer skills in MS Windows / Office and other applications (special in Excel)
• A bachelor’s degree in Electrics & Mechanics, Mechanics or related major
• Fluency in Mandarin and English (both oral and writing) - must
• Good interpersonal communications skill
• A good team player
• Must be able to work under time pressure
