Job Description
  • Promote high standards of appearance and cleaning service in all canteen areas for staff and visitors. 
  • Ensure tables are wiped and floor is swept
  • Before lunch and periodically throughout the day, record temperatures. Also, collate and record staff numbers
  • Ensure blue roll is fully stocked at all times
  • Re-stock mugs and tumblers, at all times there should be 1 shelf of tumblers and 1 shelf of mugs available
  • Re-stock clean plates and soup bowls
  • Ensure napkins are readily available for colleague use
  • Ensure condiments are full, check salt and pepper shakers and sauce bottles
  • Ensure salads, yoghurts, bread, butter and fruit are fully stocked at all times
  • Dress salad bar with tablecloth
  • Ensure serving cutlery is in place prior to lunch and dinner service
  • Assist in the preparation of food as required



Work Experience
  • High school education
  • Additional certification(s) from a reputable Culinary school will be an advantage
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
  • Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
  • Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
