BT/IT is responsible for setting strategic vision and delivering Business Transformation and IT solutions to Lenovo. This role will be critical to setting our new solution architecture and strategy for the Configure, Price, and Quoting tools for Lenovo Sales. This will be a hands on role, where the Architect will design technical solutions, develop, and build/mentor/lead technology teams to deliver high quality, user experienced focus solutions the business. This role will be expected to work cross functionally across the organization to ensure all technology deliveries are based on sound architectural and product/software development principles.

Responsibilities for the BT/IT CPQ Architect Role Includes

• Analysis of technology trends in the market place and providing strategic vision to our business stakeholders on adoption of these trends
• Build architecture for new CPQ tooling, set technical and solution strategy.
• Work with the BT and IT teams to architect solutions from the ground up, including complete technical architecture
• Provide development best practices for CPQ BT/IT group
• Work with partners to bring in new technology BT/IT
• Deploy developed solutions to critical functions in the business, requiring non-disruptive uptime, and excellent user experience.
• Executive communication focused on IT strategy, quality, user experience, development process and methods
• Build engineering teams to deliver solutions, both packaged and internally developed
