The ideal candidate will be reliable, competent in prioritizing, computer savvy with a keen eye for details. Previous brokerage experience will be considered an advantage. Work very closely with the Investment Operations team to fulfill work request submitted by the Citi Banking team and Investment Sales Associates within the expected deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Process asset movement workflow request submitted by the banking teams Client Service Officers- internal and external funds transfers and other cash movements within set timeliness standards and daily cutoff times
  • Process account maintenance requests
  • Process and verify free receipts and deliveries, global trades and other securities transactions
  • Review and approval of new account required documentation
  • Review and resolve account blocks and restrictions
  • Set up accounts with online access/edelivery
  • Adhere to all business procedures and policies
  • Research and respond to inquiries to the Citi Banking team, Investment Sales Associates, and back office Pershing LLC
  • Monitor and ensure transactions processes are executed correctly and are compliant with internal policies and controls
  • Assist in the investigation, documentation and corrective action implementation of all required issues as directed
  • Aid with the transition, alignment, and stabilization efforts of critical operations functions
  • Assist as required for control, risk, daily activities, and transaction services projects
  • Provide informal guidance or on the job training to new team members as required
  • Cross-train for various internal roles within the department, and provide back-up coverage for those roles as needed
  • Anticipate and respond to requests for deliverables from internal and external clients and vendors
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated cash and trade operations experience & knowledge
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfortable with data entry


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
