Job Description

The Victoria Recreation Club has 170 years of sporting history in Hong Kong and is considered the “Father” of all local sporting clubs.  Responsible for founding the National Olympic Committee of Hong Kong and achieving Hong Kong’s entry into the International Olympic Committee, its proud achievements also include being the founder of the Amateur Swimming Association and a co-founder of the Amateur Athletic Association. Today it is an inclusive, friendly Club, with a culturally mixed membership that welcomes sports people and families alike.

Job Scope  :

We seek an enthusiastic Cook who does Asian/Western food productions, menu creation, dishwashing and kitchen cleaning for a small kitchen of a private club.                                

Main Duties

  • To order and procure required food for daily services and events
  • To prepare kitchen for daily service
  • To coordinate with frontline staff and process food orders
  • Efficient food productions to the required standards
  • Setting up of tables and venues for BBQs, parties or other catering events.
  • To create menus together with managers
  • Provide services and replenish food items for BBQs and buffets
  • To maintain control of stock items
  • To assist with banquet table clearing, dishwashing and cleaning of service counter, fridges, kitchen and service areas.

Requirements :

Basic English. Excellent culinary skills and team cooperation.

Work location : Emerald Bay, Sai Kung, NT
