Position: CAD Engineer

General Function:

The CAD engineer is responsible for global Solidworks CAD support and NPD (New Product Development) design support. Global CAD services include bilingual engineering drawing development, engineering change revisions control, complex 3D model creation, and EPDM system control. In addition, CAD engineers are responsible for using advanced Solidworks tools in the design and creation of new products alongside Senior Design Engineers.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar

• Minimum two years of experience in CAD support for new product design programs

• Advanced Solidworks function experience including surfacing, advanced assemblies, motion analysis, etc

• Enterprise PDM (or equivalent) experience

• Ability to communicate in written and verbal English

• Ability to follow international CAD drafting practices, including ANSI and ISO standards

General Skills and Abilities:

• Experience in plastic component design and injection molding tool design

• Pro-Engineer experience

• Willing to work from Wuxi, China facility

• Able to contribute overtime as required to complete projects in a timely manner

• Strong command of Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

• Physical demands and work hazards are negligible
