What will you do?
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following:

- Manage direct and indirect materials purchase for Instrument manufacturing and consumable product.
- Set up new and maintain existing suppliers file.
- Prepare and materials status report.
- Generating periodic report from ERP system.
- Analyze inventories, positioning of materials supply from suppliers to support production plan.
- Coordinate purchasing activities with warehouse, QA, manufacturing, engineering and QC departments to maintain inventory and to ensure timely movement of materials.
- Plans, controls and monitors raw material inventories to meet manufacturing and sales demand.
- Analyze inventories, positioning, plan materials to support fluctuation in monthly production schedule and customer order.
- Review MRP or reorder point report and issue P.O accordingly.
- Identify new supplier and coordinate on FA and qualification process with engineering and QA.
- Manage and monitor last time buy, special buy and E&O inventory.
- Negotiate with supplier to minimize price increase.
- Propose materials standard cost during budget period.
How will you get here?
Education
- minimum 3 years of purchasing experience with degree qualification
- minimum 6 years of purchasing experience with diploma qualification
Experience
- In charge of recycling packaging materials to return back to suppliers if any
- Support intercompany purchase activity or any adhoc indirect purchase
- Support and participate in ISO, corporate and SOX audit.
- Support any adhoc request from management upon request.
- Prepare supplier KPI report.
- Good interpersonal skill and team player
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Ensure timely shipping of products to meet immediate, ongoing, and future needs.
- Coordinate interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, for non conformant materials.
- Manage and lead related projects in materials planning and procurement function.
