Working Location: Qingpu （工作地点：青浦区）

• Responsible for conversion of Purchase Requisitions to Purchase Order as per ERP system
• Responsible for Supermarket Purchase Order release and Inventory control at supplier factory
• Responsible for Order Acknowledgment from Supplier within two days from the date of Purchase Order release
• Responsible for delivery of materials as per delivery schedule, including tracking while in transit as needed
• Actively work expedite, de-expedite and cancel PO exception messages on a weekly basis
• Provide recommendations on mode of transportation, including requesting air freight as needed
• Work with local plant contact points and suppliers to address quality issues
• Communicate supplier completion schedules for purchased parts as required
• Monitor and Track daily & weekly parts receipt details from supplier
• Responsible for clearing material supply past dues
• Address any issues effecting receiving the materials with receiving department
• Identify, participate and lead in identifying supply chain improvement opportunities/solutions
• Resolve any accounting issues effecting paying suppliers
• Support setting-up new parts process as assigned – materials master and purchasing information records
• Maintain material master information relevant to purchasing – lead-time, buyer codes, etc.
• Resolve requisition issues as needed – missing supplier, supplier changes, etc.
• Support Purchase Price Variance reviews as needed
• Support New Product Development with the relevant Sourcing Project Leader and Supplier Quality Engineer
• Support cross-functional meetings with plant and supplier (conference call, Supplier Business Review)
  

• Diploma / Graduate in Engineering, Supply Chain or relevant field of study
• Minimum 3-5 years in procurement experience in valves, actuations, pump manufacturing or similar industry
• Good in written and spoken English communication with both internal and external customers
• French speaking / writing is a plus
• Fundamental technical knowledge, particularly in castings, machined castings and machined parts
• Proficient in problem solving with internal and external teams
• Fundamental knowledge of safety best practices
• Should able to read, write and understand engineering drawings, specifications, etc.
• Working knowledge of SAP and Oracle as ERP system
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
