This is a role for Buyer reporting to Sr. Materials Planning & Execution Staff Manager in Business Area – Electrification, Power Conversion located in Shanghai, China.
Your responsibilities
- Leading the overall fulfillment activities raw material’s purchasing and inventory management.
- Processing daily procurement requirements into purchase orders.
- Obtaining order acknowledgement from suppliers for released purchase orders with correct prices, availability and delivery schedule.
- Working on Data entry and management in SAP system and closely following suppliers on time and on quality delivery.
- Managing and resolving problems due to delivery, quality in timely manner.
- Coordinating with cross function team in the supplier’s delivery, managing supplier’s relationship by efficient communication.
- Developing an efficient and accurate system for monitoring open purchase orders.
- Processing goods receipt and invoices for payment, supporting sourcing engineer for supplier’s performance management.

Your background
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or English or International Trade.
- Minimum 4years of purchase experience as a manufacturing purchaser and working experience with SAP systems is required.
- Working experience within marine industry is preferred.
- Must have business level in verbal and written English, ability to work effectively under stress.
- Must be proficient with MS office suite and data analysis.
- Must be skilled at supplier performance management.
