Main goals and objectives:
? Integrity and compliance with statutory and other requirements are top priorities for the Volkswagen Group. They lay the foundation of a good reputation for the Group and its brands, for the trust of its customers, the wellbeing of its employees as well as of sustainable economic success, which should not be undermined by the risk of significant financial losses from fines, disgorgement and liability for damages, or criminal prosecution.
? Achieving this – as well as laws such as preventing non-compliance, identifying violations as soon as possible, taking corrective action and, where appropriate, imposing sanctions – requires the establishment of a corporate culture based on integrity and regular training on compliance with laws and regulations, as well as vigilance by all employees, their willingness to report potential irregularities and violations if reasonable suspicion exists, and timely, objective clarification of suspicious activity reports by the Volkswagen Group. Whistleblowers must be protected against discrimination and retaliation. It is also important to ensure that the persons implicated in the suspected wrongdoing are given a fair hearing in the clarification of the issue and are always presumed innocent until proven otherwise.
? This function serves to set up minimum standards such as general codes of practice for implementing, creating and executing whistleblower systems in the region China and assures the correction processing of this system. Additionally, the cooperation with the Third Line of Defense is essential to make lessons learned happened from past compliance incidents and create preventive measures in order to avoid future incidents.
Your Responsibilities:
? Develop, implement and monitor the whistleblower Policy for region China
? Process and administer the whistleblower system for region China
? Create, implement and maintain all necessary communication channels within region China
? Create and make sure the effective roll out of the whistleblower system in region china
? Document all incoming hints via a systematic and transparent standard fulfilling legal and Group standards
? Check the plausibility of the hints and if necessary investigate more information
? Legal assessment of the hints (substantiated hints) with regards to all relevant laws (criminal law, anti-monopoly law, company law, etc.) and internal regulations
? Categorize the hints based on the assessment and conduct a risk assessment based on clear criteria
? Assure compliance with all legal requirements (e.g. data protection, labor law) while processing the cases/hints
? Management/administration of the Investigation Committee
? Assessment of the results of the investigation and elaborate recommendations for consequences/sanctions
? Management and administration of the Disciplinary Committee
? Define and implement remediation measures to prevent future misconduct and create respective Compliance Programs
? Establish an effective reporting within region China and to Group Compliance to assure an accurate and transparent case tracking
? Assure case reporting to Group Speak up office and to responsible bodies within the companies in scope
? Provide information for and take part in the yearly Compliance risk analysis
? Establish an effective cross-departmental cooperation and assure an effective cooperation between GRC and Internal Audit
? Assessment of all Internal Audit Reports and develop preventive measures to support overall compliance targets
Our Requirements:
Necessary education:
? Degree, preferably in legal sciences (criminal law) /business management with special training or knowledge in the area of compliance
? Special knowledge in forensic investigations

? Strong communication, assertion and implementation abilities, flexible, intercultural oriented
? Trustworthy and authentic
? Strong organizational and planning skills
? Demonstrate high integrity, flexibility, willingness and consciousness of responsibility

Working experience (in years):
? Extensive professional industry experience (min. 7 years) of which 2 to 3 years were in the area of compliance, special investigations, prosecution
? Very good knowledge and expert ‘know-how’ of relevant international and national laws
? Management experience
? Established network within the Group structures and work experience in the Group/China
? Excellent understanding of company core business processes
