The Role
In the role of Business Excellence Manager, you will take the lead in Business Excellence operations and the sales planning process in supported countries. You will also ensure that the County Manager, Commercial Managers and Financial Controllers obtain correct and relevant data and information for efficient decision making on daily basis as well as in business reviews.
Responsibilities
Business Modelling:
Responsible for sales forecasting and build up model as a framework to understand the market and drive forecasting excellence.
Coordinate cross-functional research activities to refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales, market access and marketing assumptions.
Cooperate with relevant in-company stakeholders, to evaluate market and sales developments.
Create possible sales scenarios for business review cycles and defining key opportunities and vulnerabilities for the supported markets.
Update the forecast models with actuals data and ensure that model assumptions are periodically reviewed for accuracy and changes in customer’s behaviours.
Propose new business models to address current challenges.
Develop value-based pricing models in support of new business models.
Business Excellence / IBP process:
Together with country manager and commercial team to plan, prepare, support and execute quarterly LBE Reviews.
Responsible for defining (in cooperation with Country Management team) Strategic and Operational KPI’s to drive business performance in the supported countries.
Support Country Managers in setting Sales targets and tracking the achievement through the year.
Support Country Managers in setting Bonus goals and tracking the performance towards the goals.
Identifying and defining project requests /PIF requiring prioritization and support by Region, Area and /or Global teams, in cooperation with Country Management team.
Support monthly business review (IBP) process in the country.
Other:
Support Commercial organization in Tender submissions and negotiations.
Drive and document the NPI (life cycle management) process in close collaboration with Demand Manager, Sales & Market Access Manager and Regulatory Manager.
Take project lead on time limited regional business excellence projects.
Support product launches.
Keep the customer’s real needs at the center of all planning activities, encourage communication, drive execution, and foster innovation, as means of providing a best-in-class service
Continually provide process improvements that benefit the region.
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance / Logistics related disciplines.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant progressive experience, minimum 1 year of related work experience in a multinational environment.
Background in finance, supply chain management or analytics with experience from of change management or operational excellence initiatives.
Strong analytical skills and experience from statistical forecasting and the ability to use analysis in an operational context
Experience with key analytical tools for forecasting, financial analysis and inventory planning.
Experience with driving business critical processes, such as, but not limited to Demand Reviews, New Product Introduction processes, Inventory and Supply chain management, pricing model analysis.
Organization and Planning skills, ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload.
Self-motivated, takes own initiatives and enjoys being the centre of a team.
Proactive working style with strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
Fluency in English, Danish is an advantage
Excellent command of Excel and preferably PowerPoint, SAP and IBM Cognos
