KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Business Development Manager is primarily responsible for the development and execution of the market entry and annual sales plan for the country; as well as the execution of the Global Accounts strategy to develop new profitable business for the Company.
JOB DESCRIPTIONS AND COVERAGE:
- Business Development Activities
- Execute Global Accounts strategies
- Establish new major accounts through master contracts
- Relay market intelligence to management
- Develop and manage client relationships to increase new profitable business
- Understand the market and competitive activity in detail
- Keep abreast of industry news, progress and related technologies
- Sales Management Activities
- Implement annual sales plan
- Responsible for increasing profitable market share
- Research, qualify and validate potential hotel and channel partners, and calculate the desired return on investment (ROI) per site
- Present high quality centric win-win value propositions to potential hotel partners
- Validate the hotel’s business and technology requirements leading to a viable business proposal in support of the ROI model
- Participate in monthly/quarterly reviews with the hotel partners and implement tactical solutions where relevant to meet/exceed targets
- Engage in contract renewal process with Account Management team initially 12 months before the expiry of the agreement term
- Negotiate favourable contract terms and take ownership of the renewal process with the assistance of the Account Management team 6 Month & 3 Months prior to contract expiry to successfully complete & sign the renewal contract
- Increase usage of the service, focused on driving profitable revenue
- Achieve quarterly and annual installation and profitable revenue targets
- Oversee local execution of signed global accounts
- Implement global account strategies based on current and anticipated customer requirements
- Provide new and renewal contract briefs to installation and hospitality management support teams
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior management and key decision makers in hotel
- Conduct/Participate in weekly performance sales reviews with the sales team (if applicable)
- Keep on top of industry news, progress and related technologies. Share with team members and management
- Understand the regional market and competitive activity
- Responsible for reliable forecasting and report on business regularly to management
- Understand, administer and adhere to company policy and procedures
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor Degree or above, major in Marketing/Hospitality Arrangement/tourism management or related major;
- 3+ years Sales or related experience in foreign-owned 4 or 5-star hotel;
- Self-motivated, Good self-management ability, work independently;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills and can reach agreement based on mutual benefit;
- Be able to work under stress and be flexible for travel;
- Excellent command of English in oral and writing, CET-6 or above is preferred.

- 监控全球客户合约的本地执行情况
- 了解和预知客户需求,执行全球客户战略
- 及时与安装及客户管理团队沟通新合同和续约合同的情况
- 与客户高层/决策者保持并发展良好的关系
- 组织/参加销售团队的销售业绩周会(视需要而定)
- 收集最新市场情报和技术动态,并与团队和管理层交流共享
- 了解市场动向及竞争对手的活动
- 定期向管理层报告业务情况和预期动向
- 了解并遵守公司规章制度
岗位要求
- 全日制本科以上学历,市场营销/酒店管理/旅游管理等相关专业;
- 3年以上相关行业销售经验;有酒店供应商/外资酒店背景为佳
- 自我激励、自觉自省,独立工作;
- 优秀的沟通和谈判技巧,与客户在互利基础上达成一致;
- 能在压力下工作,适应出差;
- 英语读写说优良,CET-6或以上水平
