Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY


Responsible for Asia sales activities resulting in meeting or exceeding stated sales goals. China is the primary responsibility accounting for 80% of the focus. Plan, develop, and implement marketing strategies and programs to profitably increase Distributor and OEM market share of SJE Rhombus products within Asia. Assist with identifying new market and product opportunities resulting in increased sales.


RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES


Territory Sales

A. Develop and execute annual sales plan for Asia.

B. Establish and maintain sale projections and communicate to appropriate personnel.

C. Develop territory budget and operate within approved budget.

D. Plan and conduct sales calls to current and potential customers to meet or exceed stated sales projections (estimated 75+% travel including trade shows and training events).

E. Develop and train distributor and OEM customers within assigned territory.

F. Develop strong support relationships with customers.

G. Conduct analysis on potential and current customers and propose and implement approved changes.

H. Originate, track, and implement product projects for Asian customers/markets.

I. Plan and represent company at trade shows and trainings within territory.

J. Communicate relative regulatory code information to the appropriate company personnel.

K. Provide back-up support for other territories as directed.


Marketing Support

A. Assist Marketing in the development and implementation of marketing plan for Asia.

B. Assist Marketing in the development and implementation Advertising plan for Asia.

C. Develop sales forecasting and product pricing that meets corporate objectives.

D. Assist Marketing with product promotions, literature and new product introductions.

E. Provide support on assigned marketing projects.

F. Analyze market trends and identify new product ideas and/or industries.

G. Monitor competition and report pertinent information to appropriate company personnel.

H. Assist with the development and coordination of customer surveys in assigned territories.

I. Develop and maintain competitive analysis that provide product, price, and market share information.


Technical Responsibilities

A. Conduct in-house and out-of-house product training for employees and customers.

B. Interface with appropriate SJE Rhombus Engineers and New Product Team regarding existing and new products.

C. Maintain a high level of technical competence to support customers and staff technical needs.


Additional Responsibilities

A. Other duties or responsibilities as requested or assigned.
