The Business Development Managers work as senior sales position within IMA China. His/her role will be responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships with an extensive network of key business entities, government, training providers in great china region. Work with the business development team and marketing & communications team to increase business opportunities and thereby maximize IMA membership and CMA candidates in great china.
Business Development Managers will also manage existing accounts and ensure they stay healthy and positive in related area. He should call on clients, often being required to make presentations on products and services that meet or predict the clients' future needs. They also work with authorized course providers to secure business growth in related area.
The main duties of the Business Development Manager are summarized as follows:
- Be responsible for business development in North China
- Develop strategies and plans to grow the IMA business of related area in a way consistent with the goals of the IMA and members
- Forecast business targets and ensure they are met in related area
- Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business in related area
- Identify opportunities for campaigns, products and course providers that will lead to an increase in sales
- Build relationships with key business entities, government, professional institute, academic, and training company in related area
- Developing the Corporate partnership program in related area
- Present products and services and enhance existing relationships
- Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets
- Attend related activities, such as conference and seminars, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends
- Work with IMA china team and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs
- Support marketing and communication activity in related area.
- Collaborate with IMA team for marketing and communications, key account development, academic relationships, CMA exam, and administrative duties.
- Other duty as assigned by line manager and IMA senior management
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in business, management, or marketing background with 5 years or above working experience in business management, business development or business relationship position.
- Have an ability to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin Chinese and is skilled in both written and oral communication skills demonstrated on a daily basis.
- Strong sales consciousness and market development ability. Related education
in program management or development experience or association background is preferred. - Keen market insight and analysis ability with strong business negotiation ability is preferred.
