This is a Business Development and Thought leadership role in which you will be responsible for creating the go to market strategy across Europe for Oracle's Corporate Banking product portfolio. By leveraging your CXO network within leading Corporate Banks you will evangelize Oracle Financial Services Global Business Unit products by strenghtening the market presence and influencing market dynamics
Detailed job description\:
• Responsible for the identification of relevant new business opportunities and designs "go-to-market" plan to deliver measurable and significant revenues, focusing on Oracle’s Corporate Banking Platform
• Pursues sales opportunities in the market, and carries the baton in the beginning of the sales cycle, market awareness, and CXO
• The Business Development Representative is assigned to strategic initiatives grouped within the FS industry where Oracle has is looking to build its presence
• Builds and executes a go to market strategy for Oracle Corporate Banking suite across Europe that maximizes Oracle Financial Services License Sales in the region, with a clear focus on maximising sales productivity leading Oracle’s overall account strategy from an industry perspective across Oracle’s lines of businesses. Acts as primary liaison between Consulting, Sales, and Oracle development for business development, strategic sales initiatives and origination of customer engagement cycles
• Provides account representatives with information on how the product addresses specific needs, and assists account representatives in using Oracle's products to leverage large revenue opportunities.
• Generates business opportunities and pipeline initiation through prospecting via market programs and leveraging third party partners, as well as individual network and brand.
• Develops and coordinates a worldwide relationship with customers that establishes Oracle as a preferred vendor and optimizes Oracle's sales of product.
• Assists in articulating industry, solution, and capability message, coordinates Oracle teams and hands-off deals to a successful close.
• Should be strong in negotiation and be able to demonstrate Oracle Value. Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the Business Unit.
• Acts as a thought leader for external representation of Oracle Corporate Banking including representation via blogs, social media, industry events and banking forums.
• Given our sole focus on the Financial Services industry, it is essential that this individual has experience in developing go to market strategies within the Financial Services Industry. A thorough understanding of the Banking Solutions Sales Cycle, Customer’s Buying Cycle and Sensitivities including the Services Associated with a License Sale is a key requirement for this role. Experience in solution sales is key to this role.
• This role is will be part of the FSGBU Europe License Sales team reporting into the Sales Director / Sr. Sales Director for Europe for Oracle FSGBU Banking Business License Sales Unit.

Assists in articulating product message, coordinates technical resources and hands off deals to a successful close.
Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Acts as a leader of large-scale company initiatives. Viewed by peers as a leader and top contributor and by line management as a key business partner. 12 years of progressively increased responsibilities in sales or sales management. Marketing and business development experience preferred. Proven track record in managing multiple opportunities and ability to negotiate and close complex deals. Ability to determine strategy and tactical plans that deliver tangible results. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to Travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.
