Title: Produce Business Development Assistant.

Reports to: China Market Manager.

Company: A multi-national fresh fruit company.

Position Summary:

This position will support the development of a base of growers and suppliers of fresh produce products in bulk and/or retail formats destined to Greater China market, by contacting and supporting business development including at importer, wholesaler, retailer level and other related actors in the industry. Main objective is identifying and contacting new clients and to help develop successful commercial relations with-in the different business units of the Holding.

Level: Junior Executive.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Search for clients.

2. Execution of sales to retailers, fruit shops, and further up clients in the chain from wholesale

markets.

3. New business development.

4. To have active participation in market intelligence.

5. Maintain and actualize data base of China domestic importers, business prospects and key

players.

6. Help with updated China market info according to business plan and strategy requirements.

7. Help to establish long-term business relationships between supplier units and clients.

8. Travel domestically to develop fluent commercial relations and to get a better knowledge of

clients, market and final customers.

9. Assist with shipments, documents and commercial requirements of local operation.

10. Support in general the development of our exports and local sales of our products in China.

11. Eventually will need to travel to South America after a year, for induction.

Requirements (Education, Experience, Skills, Others):

1. Local Chinese citizen.

2. Language skills: Fluent Chinese a must. Excellent English preferred. Spanish not a must, but highly

valued.

3. Good oral and written communication skills and good negotiation skills. Excellent service attitude.

4. Basic to intermediate Fresh fruits / Produce experience required. Looking for a young talent looking

forward to learning and grow together with the company.

5. Strong work ethic.

6. Highly autonomous, proactive, self- starter with a result driven personality.

7. Preference to work in a multicultural environment.

8. Ability to cooperate successfully as a team member in a fast-paced demanding stressful environment.

9. Strong intellectual and analytical skills.

10. Based in Shanghai. (Current office in Xuhui district).

Compensation: To be discussed.

Attractive salary, annual bonus on target.

Gross RMB 11,000-11,500/ month. Net RMB 8,500-9,000.
